Stanley College has been great. My trainer was very helpful and if I was unsure of something, my trainer would be there to help. I liked how Stanley College chose my work-based
placement and the training was very helpful. I could ask them if I was unsure of anything and they would help. The whole experience has been different but I would recommend Stanley College to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience at Stanley College! I studied Ageing Support and learned how to care for the elderly. I am currently working at Windsor Park Nursing Home – a very beautiful place where the staff are friendly and sincerely care for the residents. Stanley College was great at preparing me for the workforce.

My educators were all professionals in their fields and were always available to help me in anything I did not understand. Many people in my course, myself included, were able to
find work. If you are considering studying at Stanley College, do not hesitate!

Brent Windus,

I thoroughly enjoyed my course in Certificate III in Individual Support that I completed at Stanley College. I found all the staff very helpful and in particular my teacher Victoria, who I considered to be extremely knowledgeable and approachable. She is a credit to Stanley College.

With the help of Stanley College, I participated in a four week work placement course at Mercy Care in Wembley, which has confirmed my ambition to work in Aged Care and has now led me to a job with them. I have learnt so much from my work based training and can honestly say that it was a wonderful and rewarding experience to have achieved so much in my time there.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in working in the Aged Care industry, and in particular, recommend Stanley College as the institute to complete your training.

Maryan Mohamed,

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

I chose to study at Stanley College because I heard excellent feedback from my friend about her experience while studying at Stanley College. Student Services Team and my Cookery trainers have been very supportive of my cookery journey. I feel like they have my best interests at heart.

I requested to the Employment Liaison Team to place me for work-based training which would be suitable to my learning style and requirements. I was placed at The Boheme restaurant where I was offered employment! I have also showed them how to make samosas which they found so tasty that they have put them on the menu! On each shift sometimes I would make up to 180 samosas.

I am grateful to Stanley College for this opportunity. I consider myself very lucky and I am happy that I listened to my friend’s recommendation.

Juyun Wu, South Korea,

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Diploma of Hospitality

While studying at Stanley College, I have made lots of good friends from South Korea and we have built strong relationships with both our classmates and trainers. My trainer has been very helpful and insightful and we have learnt a lot from her classes. She has always made lessons
very interactive. She also organised outings to hospitality exhibitions and workshops to expose us to the hospitality industry.

The management techniques and knowledge learnt at Stanley College has helped me apply them in my job and I managed to get a 457 visa sponsorship at a Korean restaurant as a Restaurant Manager. I have been working at the restaurant for the past 6 months and I really enjoy working there!
