I am currently working as a Disability Support Worker at Mosaic Inc. I was offered this opportunity before I even completed my training at Stanley College! One of the requirements to work at the company was a Certificate III in Individual Support which I was luckily pursuing at Stanley College. Stanley College has a very good reputation and was one of the factors why I was able to find a job.

Nicola Brown,

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)

I work as a disability support worker at Rocky Bay in Bayswater. I help people their own home.

I achieved my certificate III in Individual Support in aged care and I continued to study home & community care. Most of the support worker jobs required a Cert III which included work based training experience.

My trainer Victoria is very knowledgeable and she is a caring person. She explained everything well and helped anyone who was struggling. She also gave me a great reference for my new job. I made many new friends while studying at Stanley College. After completing my course at Stanley College, my friends and I have got together a few times to catch up to share our life and job experiences. I love my learning experience at Stanley College.

Margaret Philips, Liberia,

One of the best parts of my course was gaining real work experience through the work-based training. I was very keen and opened to learn new things during my work placement. My supervising manager gave me different tasks which I performed to the level that the task was required. I was provided with training and some important feedbacks from the manager who helped me in developing more skills to enable me to deliver my job efficiently.
