The Student Counselling Services aims to encourage academic success and to assist students to increase their enjoyment of study and college life, by helping to reduce the effects of stress and anxiety caused by study, personal or family pressures. Our Academic Support Lecturer is available to support you to complete the assignments required for your degrees, they can assist you with:

• How to reference and paraphrase correctly;
• Using a formal academic style in written assignments;
• Understanding assignment tasks and how to organise your writing effectively to complete
  the tasks;
• How to research topics in academic databases;
• Improving your writing skills;
• Improving your English language skills;
• Numeracy support.
