Professor Peta Sanderson was appointed Dean, Higher Education in October 2025 and brings with her to Stanley College significant experience of educational settings in Australia, Singapore and the USA. Peta is Emeritus Professor of the University of Notre Dame Australia and has previously held leadership roles including Pro Vice Chancellor (PVC) Research, PVC International and Associate Provost. She also has significant experience in the VET sector as well as governance experience in the independent school environment in Western Australia. Peta has received a Citation from the ALTC for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning and a Vice Chancellor’s Award for Initiatives that Enhance Student Learning.
