Quality and Compliance Manager

Matthew has over 20 years of leadership and management experience across the vocational education and training (VET), higher education and hospitality sectors in Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Since joining Stanley College in 2015, he has held a number of compliance and quality management roles and is currently the Quality and Compliance Manager. In this role, Matthew is responsible for regulatory compliance, quality assurance, governance reporting, audit management and continuous improvement across both VET and Higher Education operations.

Matthew’s career includes senior leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and leading major projects in course approval applications, regulatory re-registration, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement and business process improvement. He is recognised for translating regulatory requirements into practical compliance solutions and quality systems that strengthen accountability, continuous improvement, regulatory assurance and operational effectiveness. Matthew brings a strong commitment to governance discipline, ethical decision-making and education quality, supporting positive outcomes for students, staff and the College as a whole.

Qualification
  • Bachelor of Tourism Management, Sheffield Hallam University
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
