Accidents happen. Be it at work, across the road from the house; at a favourite hangout destination; or on the beach. It’s an inevitable fact of life. A Good Samaritan would be the first to come for assistance when needed. How good would it be, to be that person, how good would it be to help save a life? This qualification addresses the skills required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. It is a valuable course to have completed and is a pre-requisite in many employment environments.
Students working or intending to work in a hospitality venue in Australia, such as a hotel, bar, pub, or in a retail liquor outlet or tourism venue such as wineries, breweries and distilleries, are required by law to be knowledgeable about responsible selling, serving and supplying of alcohol. This qualification provides individuals with the skills required to responsibly sell and serve alcohol and satisfies the requirements for resonsible sale and service of Alcohol (RSA) under Australian state or territory legislation.
